Madison and Dragon

Madison has finalised an agreement to distribute the Dragon range eyewear products to the cycling and motorsports industries in the UK.

Founded in 1993, Californian manufacturer of premium eyewear, Dragon Alliance, has built a rock solid reputation in the eyewear market, having worked with top dirt bike, mountain bike, snow and surf athletes. With its extensive experience in the cycling and powersports markets, Madison is well-placed to distribute Dragon’s MX products to these markets in the UK.

When hurtling down the side of a mountain on a bike or speeding around a dirt bike track, maintaining perfect vision is of paramount importance. This is why goggles like the NFX2 have become such critically-acclaimed eyewear for powersports athletes and mountain bikers alike. It features Dragon’s patented frameless technology, injected dual all-weather anti-fog treated lens and armoured venting, in addition to a host of other features for riders.

The two companies have a working history as the Madison-Saracen Factory Race Team has been using Dragon goggles during World Cup races for the past five years. Craig Smith, Sales Manager at Dragon, said: “Having supported Madison’s Downhill MTB team for the past five years, when the opportunity arose to partner for MX distribution, it was an easy choice.”

For 2017 Dragon is introducing LUMALENS® color optimized lens technology offering ultra high-definition optics across the entire spectrum of light conditions. Engineered to optimize and improve visibility in all environments, Dragon’s exclusive LUMALENS® Technology delivers enhanced color vividness, increased contrast and precise depth perception. By filtering out light attributed to haze and glare while letting in light that intensifies clarity and contrast, LUMALENS® achieves a new standard in lens performance. This state-of-the-art technology provides all-day comfort for your eyes and consistently crisp, clear optics enabling users to see more, react faster, and perform better.

The Dragon Alliance Brand Director at Madison Adrian Phillips said, “Dragon’s legacy of industry leading design and performance, while setting a new standard for convenience and versatility across the range will offer the MX and [cycling] dealers a true point of difference to everything else out there. We are truly excited to be adding Dragon’s range to our MX and cycle brand portfolio.”

Madison will begin distributing Dragon eyewear in the UK and Ireland immediately. If you have a stocking enquiry, please get in touch with your local sales agent or visit www.madisonb2b.co.uk.
