Lancelot takes debut victory - Womens Motocross World Championship

Livia Lancelot took her first ever victory today at Sevlievo, under mixed weather conditions which made the second moto a lot harder than the first, as the course got more slippery. 27000 spectators attended this opening round of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship which will move to Italy next week for the second of five rounds.

Searle and Philippaerts turn on the heat - Bulgarian GP

The World MX2 championship is shaping up as a torrid battle after Red Bull KTM rider Tommy Searle took victory at the Grand Prix of Bulgaria today. Searle finished with 2-1 result and after his main rivals Antonio Cairoli and Tyla Rattray struggled a little the series points are now closer than ever between the three. Rattray leads with 157pts, followed by Cairoli 153 and Searle 149. Edmunds image.

Cyril Despres conquers Sardinian Rally in championship style

KTM factory rider Cyril Despres of France put in superb last day performance in the five day Sardinian Rally to secure a solid victory and underline the champion that he is. Riders had to tackle demanding mountain and coastal terrain on the beautiful Mediterranean island and each day presented them with new offroad challenges.

KTM riders impress in Bulgaria - Rattray, Searle, Goncalves, Nagl and Barragan

Under overcast weather and around the super fast Bulgarian circuit Red Bull KTM factory riders put in a good day’s training and practice on Saturday and all go into Sunday’s races confident and optimistic. Tyla Rattray won his qualification moto, Tommy Searle finished second in his, Max Nagl was second quickest in the MX1 class and Jonathan Barragan was third quickest in MX1. (Archer image)

Seb Pourcel, Tyla Rattray and Antonio Cairoli shine on Saturday in Bulgaria

Tyla Rattray, Antonio Cairoli and Sebastien Pourcel proved to be the hero's of the qualification day at the Grand Prix of Bulgaria. Pourcel was the quickest MX1 rider on Saturday and will start Sundays race on pole position. In the MX2 class nothing changes with the two big guns of the MX2 class winning their motos. Red Bull KTM rider Tyla Rattray and Red Bull Yamaha rider Antonio Cairoli proved too strong for their rivals.

As is the case for every World Motocross Grand Prix this weekends Grand Prix of Bulgaria will be shown live on the internet. www.mediazone.com will have coverage of the Sunday program, while www.motocrossmx1.com will show live results of each race as it happens, both on Saturday and Sunday.

Katherine Prumm injured - Heads to Bulgaria

New Zealanders can't take a trick at the moment. After the injury to Josh Coppins comes more bad news. The fourth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship will take place at one of the best circuits on the calendar this weekend as the visit to Sevlievo not only kicks the series back into life after a two week break but also initiates the first meeting of five in the first ever Women’s World Championship.
