Jennie Preece is in charge of making sure the Monster Energy girls in Europe look good and are shown in the right light. We decided to sit down with Jennie and ask her about this exciting new addition to the GP paddock.

MXlarge: Jennie, so where are you from, can you tell me a little about yourself?

Preece: Born in Birmingham, Late twenties ……., I’ve done a lot of travelling around Australia and Asia, came back to the UK and was thrilled at the opportunity to get involved with Monster in its initial stages launching into Europe. Past experience other than marketing and event management has seen me working in snowboarding camps, surf camps and podium dancing for the UK’s biggest names in the clubbing industry, on top of that I have always had a keen interest in most extreme sports and love the chance to try out these activities when I can! I landed a position on the marketing team for Europe for the brand and that is pretty much how it all started.

MXlarge: Bringing Monster into the sport in Europe sounds like a great project. What is your main aim for the Monster Energy girls Europe?

Preece: I joined Monster two and a half years ago when they came into the country, since then we have been developing the girls for the brand in Europe. Obviously the Monster girls in the US are huge, typically the brand core focuses are extreme sports, rock music and hot girls , I have the fantastic job of trying to please every man across Europe with how our Monster Energy girls look. Monster Girls in America are a huge hit with the guy’s and this is something we are aiming to replicate here in Europe firmly putting our selves on the map…... Monster Girls Europe have arrived!!!

MXlarge: What does it take to be a Monster girl?

Preece: Everybody’s got their favorites and their popular choice, but it’s important we keep all the men in Europe happy with the vision of the Monster girls, While one guy likes brunettes his mate will like red heads!!! All girls work direct for us at Monster and time is spent recruiting a smoking hot group of girls in each country that become recognized as The Monster Girls. One of our girls here today is Katy, she will be representing  us at some of our Motocross events, she is also into Motocross and was the 2008 champion in ladies Trials, so she has a particular interest in Motocross and that makes her especially credible to be a Monster girl.

MXlarge: So what do you expect from the first few races you guys attend?

Preece: Obviously it is new having Monster girls at the Motocross in Europe. We are excited to see how the crowd takes to us and I am sure it will be a positive vibe. I would be surprised if people don’t enjoy looking at the girls! The girls will be doing interviews with the riders, they will also be on the start grid for most races and will be available for photos and poster signings at the Monster area. Obviously we have certain restrictions based on the sponsors!!!

MXlarge: And what is the schedule for the Monster girls?

Preece: The girls will go to all the races, just like they do in the states. Motocross is pretty huge in Europe and it was important to get the girls to the races and get some feedback on it all. To start with we will follow the Grand Prix series, see how that goes, and then see what happens from there. We hope it is well received with media and public and our Male fans love our Monster Girls.

MXlarge: Having the Monster girls looking good is one thing, but making them also respected by men, how do you keep the men happy, but also make sure the ladies are shown respect?

Preece: We work pretty hard in the team to make sure the girls are received in the right way. Monster Girls are wild, boisterous, exciting, rebellious, sexy and scandalous. Monster Girls are not just a pretty face but an attitude, changing their whole lifestyle to live the Monster brand to its fullest.We want them to be adored by their fans , the girls have to have great personalities and be totally approachable by the public. The aim for the outfits are to be sexy and suggestive within reason, these are awesome girls with great figures and you need to show them off in the best way. We would never want out girls to be known as anything else other than Smokin Hot Ladies!!!  In Holland we had the girls in outfits with an army twist the feedback was awesome  hot hot hot!
