Interview Tuesday 22th May 2012 By Dave Bulmer

British rider Jake Nicholls started the 2012 season on fire, leading some races in the FIM World MX Championship and really looking strong on many occasions. Our on the road reporter David Bulmer caught up with Nciholls at the Grand Prix of Brazil and here is the interview.

Jake Nicholls interview - Finally a Podium

Jake Nicholls is a solid guy, always working hard to make his results the best they can be. After really horrible performance in the opening two rounds of the MX2 Championship the British rider needed something to get his confidence back. Top three in Valkenswaard probably did that.

In many peoples eyes British MX2 rider Jake Nicholls is on the crest of cracking a place in the top five in the World. Always improving and the same work ethic that took riders like Ben Townley, Josh Coppins and Joel Smets to Grand Prix glory Nicholls is looking strong for 2012. Jake Nicholls interview - Top Ten Bound

Red Bull KTM UK rider Jake Nicholls is an inspiration. The young British rider might not be in the class of a Tommy Searle or a Dean Wilson, but what he does have is a great work ethic and a determination to one day be a World Champion. Of course it’s everyone’s dream to be World Champion and only the very best finally make it, but Nicholls is willing to put in the hard yards and then see what happens after that.

British Red Bull KTM rider Jake Nicholls has made a nice return to the FIM World MX2 Championship with four consistent results. Having wanted to finish with two top 12 results in France the British rider went 11-13 in France and then backed that up with 13-11 in Portugal.
