The MX Masters in Mehrnbach, Austria, just a short distance from KTM Mattighofen factory and scheduled to be held on the weekend July 11-12, 2009 will again effectively be the home race for entire Red Bull KTM Factory Racing offroad team.

Max Nagl, regular blitz starter in the MX1 World Championship will be riding his KTM 450 machine while the team's star duo of GP-winning riders, Marvin Musquin and Rui Goncalves will also be present on the KTM 250s.

With international riders of this calibre, the event is guaranteed to have the same high gloss as the regular world championship GPs. Nagl is currently third in the MX1 championship standings while Musquin and Goncalves are first and fourth respectively in the MX2 standings.

And to add even more Orange power to the event, KTM's Offroad Director Pit Beirer, the factory team boss and multi world champion Stefan Everts, KTM's offroad legend Heinz Kinigadner and the factory team riders Shaun Simpson and Jonathan Barragan, who are currently on the injured list, will also be attending.

All the KTM factory team will also be present at Pit Beirer's "Wings for Life Beach Party" at the newly refurbished Simbach Swimming Pool on Saturday night, which features a spectacular freestyle motocross show with back flip specialists Nick de Witt, Petr Pilat and Jimmy Verburgh.

The KTM riders and team members will sign autographs and be available for interviews at the Beach Party and another Orange autograph session will also take place on race day at Mehrnbach.

The "Wings for Life Beach Party with Pit Beirer and Friends" supports the Wings for Life Foundation founded by KTM's Heinz Kinigadner to support research into treatment and cures for severe spinal injuries.

KTM Offroad Director Pit Beirer is also an ambassador for the Foundation. The event is being supported by KTM, Red Bull and Inn Energie, the manager of which, Karl Maria Frixeder, has assumed patronage of a generous sponsorship contribution.

"I am completely behind the Wings for Life Foundation. I am sure that this day we will be able to achieve a lot for it," Frixeder said.

Entry to the Beach Party is free and will include a Beach Volleyball tournament, the official opening, an autograph session with KTM stars, the freestyle show and a party at night with live music.
