Reed and Dungey win in Milleville - Suzuki domination
News Sunday 19th July 2009 By Geoff Meyer
In the 250cc class it was all Ryan Dungey who totally dominated his main rival Christophe Pourcel of France. Dungey went 1-1 with Pourcel going 2-2. Pourcel now leads the championship by just three points. Third overall was American Justin Barcia with Australian Brett Metcalfe fourth.
What might be exciting now is the fact we will more than likely see riders like Reed, Byrne, Metcalfe, Tedesco, and Dungey at the 2009 FIM Red Bull Motocross of Nations. How they will fare against the FIM World Championship riders will be interesting and once again gives us the US versus THEM theme, which is what we all want. Pourcel is at this moment a questions mark for the event, although the whole World would love to see him there.
