News Sunday 31th January 2010 By Geoff Meyer
Villopoto has won the San Francisco Supercross leading home Josh Hill, Davi Millsaps, Ryan Dungey and Andrew Short. In the Lites class it was Trey Canard who go the win ahead of Jake Weimer, Broc Tickles, Wil Hahn and Cole Seely.
The big action of the night was when series leader and two time main event winner Ryan Dungey crashed while holding a big lead in the Supercross main event. He went down hard and struggled to the finish with a broken clutch.
"It was tough out there,"Villopoto told. "The track was slippery and really difficult to ride. Its a long season and I just need to keep my head down and keep scoring points, anything can happen as we have seen already."
