Rene Larsen is well known in the sport of Motocross for his valuable vision for perfection and the quality of his work. Having established a KYB centre in Scandinavia his progress has been amazing and we just had to have a talk with him and find out a little more.

Here is a little information on what Mr Larsen has been doing and the progress he has seen.

MXlarge: Can you tell me a little about how you got started?

Larsen: I started the business in 2007 together with Formula 1 driver Nicolas Kiesa. Our intention was to establish a KYB center in Scandinavia in corporations with Technical Touch in Belgium and so we did 2008 and 2009 we serviced the KYB customers in mx2 European championship and Mx 3 world championship with huge success, this time we also did start our own service of WP and Showa.  In mid 2009 the company collaborated with SCS power parts which do really serious engine tuning. I have since 2000 worked as a mechanic of many GP’s and European riders and started the suspension work in 2005

MXlarge: What is your history in the sport?

Larsen: We worked with many highly profiled riders which all gave their touch too the companies form most influent was old friend and test rider Brian Jorgensen #8 and my true friends Emil and Nikolaj Larsen, I was there in 2007 to help win the Danish championship with Brian and again in 2008 with Nikolai, also 2008 we won the European championship MX85 with Jeffrey Herlings on a KYB mounted Suzuki and went 2nd in MX2 European championship with Nikolaj Larsen.  In 2009 we won MX2 Danish championship with Kasper Lynggaard and Danish championship in 85cc in both classes with Thomas Kjaer Olsen and Emil Due

MXlarge: How is it going today?

Larsen: Today we do make many tests and just started the first steps of installing our very own Damper dyno. We supply many companies with original KYB showa and WP parts and also sell the top of the line c2p products.  All suspensions leaving us is inspected and taken care of in a very careful manner. Our many dealers get good prices and thoroughly tested parts and all the technical assistance they may need to do a good job. Also we do a lot of dyno testing and engine preparations as well as selling this info and parts too dealers. We arrange throughout Europe test sessions for all customers and dealers and the first one this year in Spain was a huge success.

MXlarge: What about in 2010, what is your scheduel?

Larsen: We will for 2010 do some rounds of the MX2 European championships and MX3 world championship but for sure concentrate most on ADAC and Dutch championship. We are also involved in Nikolaj Larsen’s career and make efforts to help him.

MXlarge: And the future?

Larsen: Our plan for the future is too establish the C2P brand and keep arranging our test sessions and continue to grow as a quality minded exclusive suspension business. Also keep a growing dealer network for our original and tuning products Continue develop roadracing ATV and snowcross parts and skills.
