Thanks to their skill, I made progress also as a sportsman and it was an impulse to train for I would be able to compete on one level and to fulfill my aims.

            Unfortunately, years passing we don't become younger, and the injuries gained in motocross don't stay without consequence, so at the end of the season 2008 I said goodbye to active membership in World championship. I, who so many years was inside this wonderful motocross world, couldn't simply leave motocross aside. Thanks the fact, that I found good and reliable confederates, in the season 2009 we started to organize motocross serial "Superkauss".

            Our contest is different from the traditional motocross competition. In this event every participant must ride 3 x 5 circles, and it is a true motocross sprint. Thanks to its dynamics, speed and excitement, this event fascinate very much sportsmen, as well as spectators. Participants are divided in classes depending on the skill and age of the sportsmen for it would be interesting both for seniors and youth. Sportsmen riding solo and quadro bikes could take part in the contest. Our main aim - that everybody participating in this competition and visiting enjoys it and that everybody would remember this event as a unique adventure.

            Thanks to purposeful work and style of our team, offering spectators a true motocross show performance, where girls are screaming of joy and men supporting one's own sportsmen with loud cheers, already in the first season more than 240 sportsmen participated in our competition, and it was visited by 2500 spectators at an average, which is a very good indicator on the scale of Latvia. We would like to achieve, that our competition will be visited by 5000 spectators and that the show would be still better with the participation of still better actors / sportsmen. Our competition was evaluated also by sportsmen from neighbouring republics, for example, Imantas Tamalunas, Juss Laansoo, Meelis Jurgensons, Vitautas Bucas and others. Despite the fact, that I was very busy with the organization of the contest, I also myself took part in this event as a participant in MX Pro class, and in sharp competition with the leading sportsman from Latvia and Estonia I won the contest in total evaluation. We felt a great interest to our event from the local media, and it was well reflected in all Latvia.

            We are always directed by the spirit of sportsmen to achieve still more. We have carried out a big groundwork for this year the competition would be more magnificent and better organized. Personally I can promise all the sportsmen, that this year the racetracks will be better prepared, and that the event will be true motocross show with its own sparkle, where the experienced in the competition will long stay in memory. Thanks to our general sponsor energy drink "Battery", our event has become financially more accessible to sportsmen, and we have not only decreased sportsmen participation fee in Pro classes to 12 LVL and in other classes to 16 LVL, but also provided prize-money 500 LVL in every stage, as well as thanks to the sponsors there will be special prizes, which the sportsmen will be able to win during competition, for example, the prize of Vilders company "The fastest circle of Vilders". Our team is working hard for to reflect this event well not only in Latvia, but also in the media of the Baltic States and Europe.

            You are all welcome to take part in the competition we are organizing, it is expected, that there will participate such leading experts of Latvian motocross as Augusts Justs, Roberts Justs, Niks Afelbaums, Ivo Šteinbergs, Pauls Jonass and Filips Kempelis, as well as personally I, Lauris Freibergs, who will try to defend the title of "Superkauss" prize contest champion in MX PRO class.

            All the true motocross sportsmen, who are not afraid of speed, dynamics, tension and fame, let's meet on "Battery Superkauss" tracks in Latvia, where we'll organize such motocross tornado, that Latvian girls will scream of joy and Latvian fans will carry us on arms.
