Roczen to race AMA Supercross and FIM Motocross in 2011

Ken Roczen the 16 year old sensation from Germany is the first rider who has decided to make the most of the new Grand Prix calendar and race both in Europe and America in 2011. The Teka Suzuki rider wants to race the AMA Supercross Championship and the FIM Motocross Championship.
With the new age rule in America about to change and give riders over 15 years old the chance to race in the professional ranks the German rider is excited to remain in Europe for the FIM World Motocross Championship and reach his dream of racing the AMA Supercross Championship. It is many riders dream to race the AMA Supercross series and Roczen is no different.
"For sure I want to race the AMA Supercross and World Motocross Championship next year,"Roczen said. "I will race the Bercy Supercross also in November and then prepare for the AMA Supercross. I talked to people in America and they mentioned that the age rule will change and it will be possible for me to race in America next year. It has always been my dream to race the American Supercross, but I want to continue racing the World Motocross Championships."
With the 2011 FIM World Motocross Championship now starting in the middle of May it gives World Championship riders the chance to race some Supercross races and then return home for the GP's. There is also interest from other European riders to race the AMA Supercross and then also do the FIM World Motocross Championship.
