Some hot news coming out of Lommel last weekend. Not only the workings between Youthstream and the teams, but also some ride change rumors and more news from the sport of Motocross.
Speaking to Antonio Cairoli about his change of plans to race an AMA National. The Italian wants to race in America at some stage, but it's just not possible at the moment with his four World title on the line. Seems that the Italian MXoN team is under threat.

Cairoli mentioned in his exclusive MXlarge interview that KTM and Yamaha want to have the riders sponsors on the jerseys, but as is the case for many years now the Italian MXoN jerseys are just blue. Lets hope that gets sorted, it would be a huge disappointment if Cairoli and Philippaerts didn't race for the Italian team.

Jeffrey Herlings is also having second thoughts about racing the MXoN. The dutchman mentioned in an MXlarge interview that will be on line tomorrow that he isn't that keen racing for the Netherlands. Due to the poor form of Marc De Reuver and the lack of a third rider is the reason for his lack of interest.

If you believed all the rumors running the paddock in Lommel last weekend then we might be seeing a bunch of former GP riders heading back to Europe in 2011. Not mentioning any names, but use your imagination.

Seems that Teka Suzuki, Red Bull KTM, CLS Kawasaki and Martin Honda are busy signing new riders for 2011. The form of both Jonathan Barragan and Sebastien Pourcel must also be giving Kawasaki fits. They just resigned Xavia Boog, but Pourcel and Barragan have had two terrible seasons with injuries and poor form.

Red Bull KTM Factory Team boss Pit Beirer mentioned that his team would always be open to working with Townley if they could agree on which series and what class. Townley and KTM tried to make a deal for the future however Townley only wanted Outdoor and KTM wanted both Supercross and Motocross for the future. Beirer doesn't rule out working with the former World MX2 Champion though. In another MXlarge interview (due out this week) Pit gives us more details and also gives us the news on that Stewart to KTM rumor.
