As of tomorrow MXlarge will be going on holidays. With all the Italian team problems and return of James Stewart to racing it probably isn't the best time to head off to the sunshine of Spain, but hey, it's school holidays and my four kids have told me no computer this holiday, so...

Expect me to come back full of energy and ready to crack out some cool interviews with Alessio Chiodi, Jake Nicholls, David Bailey and so many more.

Now it's time to pack my sunglasses, suncream, swimming costum, and head to the 34 degree temperatures of Malaga.

See you all in a week.

Italian Stallions - World Champions from Italy

Italy has really proven to be one of the most important nations over the last 30 years when it comes to Motocross. It was back in 1984 that Michele Rinaldi swept to victory in the FIM World 125cc (MX2) Championship and put Italy on the map.

Jonathan Barragan video - Spanish Flyer

Wilson and Tickle - Charging Hard in Anaheim II

A sold-out Angel Stadium played host to the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross for the second time this season. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson and Broc Tickle had serious business to do, and were both focused on rebounding from last week's tough race. Their teammate, Tyla Rattray, sat the night out due to injuries sustained after his heat race crash last Saturday in Oakland.
