It is been very busy since after my last race. A lot of TV shows, interviews, photo shoots, attending events and visits to sponsors etc. Most of them in Italy. So until now we didn’t had time to go on holiday and I am not sure if we still are going to find a free moment for that. I also visited the Red Bull hangar7 in Austria with Kenny (Roczen) for some KTM promotional stuff and you could find me almost one week long at...

But no worries, I found the time to go fishing a few times. I love fishing and I am becoming pretty good in it as well. I am also going to be in Genova Supercross this weekend to support Chad (Reed)!

As everybody saw it went well Saturday at the Motocross of Nations, I fought with Ryan (Dungey) for the victory. But then on Sunday in race one it went wrong in the first corner. I didn’t see the mud on the inside and I crashed. I started in last and rode like 'everything or nothing', my lap times where close to the fastest lap times from the guys in front and I was passing five riders a lap, than I went to fast into a corner before the downhill and the bike threw me again and I made a big crash. I saw my bike was broken and I could not restart. I didn’t feel the pain in my hand directly but the pain got worst by the minute.

I really wanted to ride that third race both for team Italy because I let them down, but also for myself. I love MXON and I always give myself 100%. Last year I even had to fight until one week before the MXON to actually race! That made it that I arrived there unprepared and also this year (after what happen to me and my family, my mom died a week before the Nations) I was there and ready to race and I think that shows how important this MXON is for me. So I got an injection before the third race and I started, but it was still too painful to ride. After moto three they made an X-ray of my hand and saw that I had a fracture my scaphoid and ulna.
