Aubin to do MX2 in Maxxis British Motocross Championship
News Friday 24th November 2011
Buildbase Honda Racing team are delighted to confirm that French rider Nicolas Aubin will now be competing in the MX2 class in next year`s Maxxis British Motocross Championship. It was originally expected that Aubin would race in the MX1 class, although Honda UK have asked for a change in the plans.
Team boss Dave Thorpe said... " Our original plan for Nico was to race in the MX1 class in the Maxxis British Championship, however Neil Tuxworth of Honda UK has expressed a preference now for Nicolas to race in the MX2 class and obviously we are pleased to work with Honda`s requests as much as possible".
Nicolas commented... "I can switch from 450 to 250 no problem. All I want to do is win races".
Nico`s race calendar will not change, in addition to the Maxxis British Championship now in MX2, he will be racing in MX1 in Red Bull Pro Nationals and selected Grand Prix.
The Buildbase Honda team will be supporting Mickey Oates Motorcycles tomorrow (Friday) evening at their shop at 19 North Canal Bank Street, Glasgow, as they are hosting another "Honda dealer" open night. There will be competitions, a quiz and plenty of prizes.
We look forward to seeing you there.
