In the week-long schools, which begin at the end of January through to the end of March, riders have the opportunity to work closely with Brian on their technique for all aspects of riding and racing on a number of tracks, as well as fitness and diet, which are tailored to give riders the best pre-season possible to prepare them for the start of the 2012 racing year.

The facility, which offers six days of MX riding with plenty of one-to-one tuition and intensive training on starts jumps and cornering, is situated in the South of Spain with apartments available for one rider and one mechanic included in the package price. The apartments are fitted out with bedrooms, washing machine and dishwasher, toilet and bath, living and dining area with access to a pool, a modern wellness spa and fitness centre.

Brian’s schools also include talks on the mental aspect of racing, and the motocross-ace, who is recognised for capitalising on his excellent riding style, is also hosting a special week just for 65cc riders week beginning 13th February. All other weeks are open to riders of all abilities including current pro racers looking for extra help.

“I’m lucky enough to have had a great career in Grand Prix racing while riding for a number of manufacturers, and although my career was cut short due to injury, I’ve since been coaching the Danish national team and working with many great aspiring riders, as well as regularly riding still myself. We have an excellent facility in Spain with everything a rider needs to do his winter training, and with all the experience I’ve learned over the years as well as my interest in improving rider technique, it gives me a lot of satisfaction we have the opportunity to coach riders to help them improve, whatever stage they are at in their riding careers,” said Brian.

Brian has been training riders since he retired from Grand Prix racing and the 36-year-old Danish-ace still rides regularly. The former national champion has also reunited with Honda, on which he enjoyed his most successful season, as its youth coach with the Honda Xtreme Academy and is offering a 10% discount on his training schools for all Honda riders. The cost of the schools is EUR760 per week including all track fees and accommodation for one rider and one mechanic. There may be a discount for group bookings.
