MUD - FIM Motocross World Championship videogame

MUD, the official FIM Motocross World Championship video game, is planned to be launched in March 2012 for Xbox360™, PlayStation®3 and PC, and to start discovering what it will offer, it has now its own webpage. Visit www.mudthegame.com to learn more about the videogame and do not miss the Developer Diary to find out how MUD has been developed.

The first Dev Diary out of four, which focuses on the official license of the game, is already online and it features Davide Guarneri, who has been closely involved with Black Bean Games and Milestone to help them to make the videogame as much realistic as possible.

The upcoming Dev Diaries will explain the Art style and the Technology used to develop MUD, as well as the gameplay modes and features of the videogame. MUD will be a unique videogame, which will exclusively feature the FIM MX1 and MX2 World Championships, as well as the 2011 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.

The videogame will include 84 official MX1 and MX2 riders, 32 official teams and 12 different locations. Besides, the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations will feature 16 national teams which took part in the 2011 edition, with 48 riders wearing their official bikes and their nation’s gear.

Grand Prix of Brazil - MX1 Podium interviews

The Grand Prix of Brazil proved to see some surprises and plenty of rain as the FIM World Motocross Championship turned into a mud bath for the riders. While it was Tommy Searle and Christophe Pourcel who came away the winners many riders performed well. Here is what they had to say.

Searle and Pourcel win in Brazil - Herlings struggles

This morning Beto Carrero woke up with heavy rain, but it did not stop the thousands of motocross fans to come to the track to cheer the best motocross riders in the world. Christophe Pourcel and Tommy Searle succeeded in putting two Kawasaki’s on the top of the podium, while Antonio Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings finished eighth and seventh respectively.

Dungey, Roczen and Musquin perform in Hangtown

Red Bull/KTM Factory riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen opened their outdoor season with flair at the Hangtown Motocross Classic on Saturday. Dungey finished second in the 450 class and Roczen scored a podium third in the 250 class. Marvin Musquin rode a solid two motos despite a fractured had that has surgery just two weeks ago
