With preparations now well under way for this year's Hawk International at Hawkstone Park on 26th February and some massive top international riders putting their names down to compete this year, an added bonus has also come with TV footage of the event.

Motors TV (on SKY) are planning on showing highlights and races from this year's Hawk International. Race Secretary Gary Ford commented "This is great news not only for our event but also for the sport in the UK and it gives us an opportunity to portray our loyal sponsors to a much larger audience as they will get coverage on the programme.

 

Additional it will help in attracting potential sponsor for future events held by HIMX. We have riders and teams signing up day by day and both the MX1 and MX2 classes have some fantastic riders amongst the entries which is sure to prove another fantastic days racing.

 

Names released so far are Rockstar Suzuki MX1 with Clement Desalle, Tanel Leok and Japanese rider Yohei Kojima, Suzuki MX2 Harri Kullas and Petar Petrov, STR KTM Matiss Karro and Nathan Parker, Buildbase Honda Nico Aubin, Ryan Houghton and Jordan Booker, Apico Suzuki Luke Hawkins, Lewis Gregory and Damon Strydom, Dyer and Butler Suzuki Alan Keet and Josh Waterman with many more to follow.

Tickets are only available to buy on the gate and will be £20 per adult and under 14's are free.

 

Camping will be £20 per pitch - motorhome/tent/caravan.

Honda World Motocross Team - Testing in Mantova

The Honda World Motocross Team has concluded an intensive test at Mantova, Italy with great success and now has more information to continue with the preparations of the factory CRF 450R for the start of the MX1 Grand Prix season in April.

AMA Supercross - Atlanta History Lesson

The first race was held at Atlanta was on March 5 1977, and Bob Hannah won on a Yamaha. This will be the 34th time the gate will drop for a Supercross Class race in Atlanta. Yamaha won their first race in Atlanta at Fulton County stadium. In 1992, Yamaha's Damon Bradshaw won the last Supercross Class race held at Fulton County Stadium.

Evgeny Bobryshev in Mantova - The Video

De Dycker and Barragan in Valence International

LS Honda Racing riders Jonathan Barragan and Ken De Dycker completed their first race meeting of the season at the International Motocross of Valence in France this weekend. While Jonathan didn’t race in Sunday’s motos -due to a hand injury- and Ken De Dycker left Valence with a mediocre 12th place overall, both riders were happy with the progress they made developing their Honda CRF450R race bikes.
