"We want to give riders the opportunity to come and experience the ACU British Youth Nationals Series without having to sign up to do every event," explains Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities. "We want to attract the best riders to the British Youth Nationals Series, the premier championship in the UK, which is why we've decided to run with this initiative."

"Riders will be able to sign up to their regional rounds, without having to pay the registration fee for the whole series, where they'll get a good introduction to the series. Hopefully what they see will convince them to return next season to contest all the rounds."

"Riders in the regional championships as we'll call them won't be eligible to score points in the main championship classes, but we'll be sorting out a few prizes for the regional winners to make it worth their while."

To enter the regional championships at the ACU British Youth Nationals Series, riders should call RHL Activities on 01873 840640.

The British Youth Nationals will be contested over six rounds (with the exception of the Auto class), at some of the best motocross tracks the country has to offer. The series will continue to be the premier youth championship in the United Kingdom, and the only one run under the auspices of the ACU, with the winner in each class crowned as the British Champion at the end of the season.
