“It looks really cool and it’s even cooler that Red Bull are part of it because they are one of my biggest sponsors and they are also sponsoring this event,” says Jeffrey. “I’m really enjoying myself and I hope to check out some great races later on.

“I think it’s really good the way the youth classes race at the same event as the pros because there are a lot of spectators here to watch the pros and this means they will also watch the youths. And maybe there will be some sponsors here and maybe they will want to sponsor the young riders and get them to the top.

“Red Bull really want to support young riders and here they can show their talent and it’s good for young kids to show what they have.”

While Jeffrey was signing autographs Marc was heading to second in his qualifying heat behind Max Nagl and relishing racing in front of his home fans.

“It’s really nice to race a Red Bull Pro National in my own country,” says Marc. “You know I like the set-up, especially now with the Saturday also – I think it’s very good with the 25-minute practice and then a heat. The time of the heat is better because we get close racing – everyone wants to get a good position. I was second. Nagl crashed and I took the lead, then I got really bad arm-pump and I also crashed. But second is good for tomorrow.”
