Chad Reed Won't Ride the MXoN
News Tuesday 14th August 2012 By Geoff Meyer
Reeds tweet went like this: "Just had to make one of the toughest decisions. I will not be racing MXDN. So hard to turn down representing your country"
I mean Michael Byrne could be a chance, but his AMA Nationals form is nothing to write home about and the next in line could be a number of guys from the Australian Motocross Championship series. Possibly one of the Moss brothers, Jay Marmont, or Dean Porter to support Byrne. A pity after the Aussie team made the podium for the first time ever in 2011 with Reed, Metcalfe and Moss.
Team Great Britain is selected this weekend at the British GP, with the team expected to be Tommy Searle, Jake Nicholls and Max Anstie or Shaun Simpson. Team Belgium will also be picked soon, with Ken De Dycker, Clement Desalle and Jeremy Van Horebeek the favourites for that team.
Which way team France will go is a mystery, could be Gautier Paulin, Christophe Pourcel and Marvin Musquin, now that team would be an outside bet to battle with Team USA and Team Belgium.
Team New Zealand will be Josh Coppins, Cody Cooper and a yet to be named younger rider for the MX2 class.
