AMA Nationals - Race Highlights

While the opening round of the AMA Nationals was held three days ago, it is still nice to sit back and watch the moto highlights. So here we have the highlights from the 250 and 450 motos. A great day for Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen, possibly the two fastest riders in their class in the World. Bring on MXoN.

RacerX have produced a great video from the opening round of the Lucas Oils AMA Nationals, which was held last weekend and won by German rider Ken Roczen (250) and Ryan Villopoto (450). Here is a look at what happened and what didn't happen at Hangtown.

KTM once again dominated, although Jeffrey Herlings lost his first race of the season. The Grand Prix of Brazil held mixed fortunes for all the riders, some went home happy and some disappointed. Here is what many of the leading riders thought of your weekend in South America.

Cairoli and Herlings Win Again - Brazil GP

Once again the Grand Prix of Brazil was a great success thanks to the outstanding facilities of Beto Carrero, the enthusiastic 45000 fans that cheered for the MXGP riders during the whole event, as well as the great racing in both MX1 and MX2 classes and of course in the Super Final.

Cairoli and Herlings win in Brazil

The two Red Bull KTM Factory riders Antonio Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings have won their respective classes in the Grand Prix of Brazil today. Cairoli went 1-1 for his win and Herlings 1-2 after a crash in the superfinal saw him lose his perfect season.

MX1 and MX2 Qualification - The Videos

German rider Max Nagl and Dutchman Glenn Coldenhoff won the Saturday qualification races in Brazil and here is the action from both the MX1 and MX2 motos. Once again brilliant action as Herlings had to fight for his life after another bad start and crash.

Roczen and Villopoto win - Hangtown

With a record event attendance of nearly 25,000 fans, the 45th running of the Red Bull Hangtown Motocross Classic proved to be one for the history books as the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, kicked off in Sacramento, Calif. on Saturday.

Moss wins in OZ - Mackenzie second

Motul Pirelli Suzuki’s Matt Moss claimed victory in the fourth round of the Monster Energy MX Nationals, his first overall since rejoining the MX1 category in 2013. Moss rode his RM-Z450 to his second straight GoPro Super Pole before winning the opening moto, and clinched the round with second in moto two.

Nagl and Coldenhoff win in Saturday - Brazil

The weather forecast was not really favourable for today’s qualifying races, but it did not stop the thousands fans to come to the wonderful facilities of Beto Carrero to see the MX1 and MX2 qualifying races. In the end the rain did not arrived until the end of the MX2 qualifying race, so the MX1 riders had a more challenging qualifying heat, as the ground was becoming very slippery by the middle of the race.
