Pourcel rideless for 2013 - Looking for a Ride
News Wednesday 26th September 2012 By Geoff Meyer
"The end of the season was somewhat marred by problems. Lately, the bike had a tendency to pitch. It was not easy in Italy to compete with Cairoli in these conditions and it was even less in Germany, where a good start is essential. I am satisfied with the balance of the season.
"We won a GP and with a team that did not exist a year ago and evolved with material very close to the series are very good results. We reached our goal as top five in World MX1 and experience was gained, we could fight for the title in 2013.
"Unfortunately, we will never know, since the team stops CP377 lack of sufficient support. Lack of partners, we can not go with Jean-Jacques Luisetti leaving for a new season. Now I am free of any commitment with anyone.
"I can do the bike for fun and just for fun, whether at Charity Days, comparative tests or Bercy Supercross. Many opportunities to take the time to talk with people, enjoy the moment without the challenges of competition as we can live in GP. That said, I'm going to seriously prepare for Bercy, because I do not want to miss this reunion with fans "confided Christophe
Jean Jacques Luisetti team owner comments
"We created this program in late 2012, with Christophe and Sébastien we obtained excellent results, both in GP with success and podiums with Christophe in GP and with the French Elite with Sebastian. Circumstances do not allow us to continue unfortunately, while we proved this season that we can compete with other teams.
"I'm disappointed, but I am very happy to have helped Christopher to ride with us for the GP season and a half. I wanted to continue the adventure with Christopher, but the overall economic situation does not allow it.
"We wanted to announce the split so that Christophe is free of any commitment now and can give direction he wants his career. On a personal level, it is a disappointment because this experience will remain one of the most beautiful of Jean-Jacques Luisetti in the field of competition, "
