World Speedway Video - 1995 until 2010

Speedway is one wild sport. I've followed it since the 1960's and have enjoy each era change. The World Speedway Grand Prix began in 1995 and many riders enjoyed success with the new format (it used to be a single night World Final). Here is a really cool video of the action in the last 16 years.

Jason Crump is World Speedway Champion 2009

Jason Crump has become only the eighth rider to win three or more Speedway World Championships. The experienced Aussie only had to score a minimum of 8pts at the final round in Poland to close the door on his closest challenger, veteran Tomasz Gollob, and by heat 13 it was mission accomplished - another title to add to his 2004 and 2006 successes.

World Speedway Grand Prix - Final Countdown

World Championship leader Jason Crump admits his injury has opened up the race for the title ahead of the Polish Grand Prix in Bydgoszcz on Saturday night. The Australian crashed in Belle Vue’s Elite League clash with Ipswich on September 14 and needed a four-hour operation and skin grafts to repair burns to his upper left arm.
