With all the wild times of the AMA Supercross at the moment I thought it might be a nice idea to take a look how they used to do it in the old days, well, nearly 30 years ago. I was just a young man back then, and my hero's were not Grand Prix racers, but names like Marty Smith, Marty Tripes and Bob Hannah.

Here is a very cool video from the famous Houston Astrodome.

Stewart And Hansen Win - Roczen DNF

James Stewart has won the Pheonix Supercross with a stunning victory ahead of A1 winner Ryan Villopoto. In the Lites class it was Josh Hansen who took the win. Kenny Roczen crashed in his qualification heat, before winning the last chance qualifier, then crashed again in the Lites Main and DNFed.

Anaheim III - AMA Supercross Championship 2010

Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, returns to Angel Stadium this Saturday for its third and final stop in Anaheim, Calif., with Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey, and Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer, leading the AMA Supercross and AMA Supercross Lites class points races, respectively.

Millsaps wins in San Diego - Monster Energy AMA Supercross

Red Bull Honda rider Davi Millsaps has won the San Diego Supercross, leading home Josh Hill and Ivan Tedesco. Ryan Dungey finished in sixth place and still leads the points race. Ryan Villopoto came home in fourth place.

Villopoto and Weimer talk about San Francisco

Ryan Villopoto returned to the top step of the podium Saturday night with his first win of 2010. Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer earned his fourth straight supercross lites podium with a runner-up finish.

Jake Weimer had another great night at Anaheim as he won the main event for the third straight week. Hansen blasted out to the holeshot and finished fourth. Villopoto finished seventh.
