Grand Prix of Unites States - Time Tunnel

Video Tuesday 06th April 2010 By Geoff Meyer

During the Bulgarian Grand Prix of course all the talk was about the upcoming Grand Prix of Unites States. Several rumors were the talk of the paddock. Some said an AMA National was being organized that same weekend at a circuit near Glen Helen, another said James Stewart might be racing the GP.
We spoke with Davey Coombs of the AMA Nationals and he assured me that there will be no AMA National on the weekend of the USGP and that he supports the Grand Prix riders and is looking forward to seeing which riders are impressive from the GP.

I thought it might be  good idea to check out these two video's on the USGP. One is from 1990 when Eric Geboers beat the best AMA riders to win the 500cc USGP held at the Glen Helen circuit. I talked to Eric about this on the weekend and later in the week I have a really cool interview with Eric on that victory. Funny thing is just before I did the interview I was also talking with Harry Everts who raced the USGP in 1981 and he couldn't figure out who won.

Later on I spotted Eric and Harry talking and had to join their conversation. Looking at these two little guys talking and thinking they had a combined total of nine World titles really amazed me. Anyway during the talk another pretty good Motocrosser Stefan Everts joined the circle of champions and started telling me about his USGP experiences. That interview is also later in the week.
