Having had a terrible winter the New Zealander came into 2011 missing the first round in Bulgaria and then struggled in round two in Holland, before taking a time out from America and Brazil and returning in France.

Ben Townley interview - BT is Back!!!!

Great news for the FIM World Motocross Championships is that one of its favorite sons Ben Townley will return to the series in 2011. The 2004 World MX2 Champion will race for the Monster Energy CLS Kawasaki team and his battles with four times World Motocross Champion Antonio Cairoli will without question be legendary.

Ben Townley heads to Grand Prix series

Newly crowned NZ Super Cross champ and former MX2 World Motocross and AMA Supercross Lites champion, Ben Townley, will line up for the first 3 rounds of the MX1 FIM Motocross World championship which kicks off in Bulgaria on the 3-4 of April.
