Everts 500cc domination and 2001 MXdN - The Video's

Video Thursday 21th December 2011 By Geoff Meyer

The Namur circuit in Belgium will always be the most beautiful Motocross circuit the sport has ever seen. Nothing can compare with it and nothing ever will. So many amazing races have been run at the Citadelle and we decided to show you a couple of the best right here.

The first is of Stefan Everts domination of the 500cc class way back in 1998. It was the day Everts rode as a wildcard rider and totally thrashed the elite of the 500cc class, Joel Smets included.

The other three video's are from the 2001 MXdN, held just after the tragic September 11. Without Team USA it was still a classic of an event. Everts was again the star, although it was Team France of David Vuillemin, Luigi Seguy and Yves Demaria who came out on top. Keep an eye out for Chad Reed as he wins a moto and crashed in another.
