Check out this highlights package from the Dutch television channel RTV East as they show us Rick Elzinga winning the Dutch 250cc championship and Romain Febvre, Calvin Vlaanderen and Jeffrey Herlings battle for the major points in the 450 class. 

Febvre won the 450 overall with 1-2 results, while Jeffrey Herlings went 3-1 after crashing in the opening moto and starting in last place and third was Calvin Vlaanderen with 2-3 scores. The highlights are in Dutch, but you can still get a feel of what happened in Holland yesterday. Also shows the Herlings crash and charge through the field. Great stuff.

Jeffrey Herlings: Training went good, a bit muddy with all the rain we have had lately, but the best start position for the first race and we will see. The start wasn't great, somebody from the outside hit my front wheel and it was a domino effect. To race from last to third and they wanted to disqualify me, but then they said it was okay and I was then given third place back. I won the second race, which was okay.

Championship points for the Dutch Masters 450cc championship after the Markelo round are now, Herlings on 145pts, Febvre 135pts, and Vlaanderen 122pts. Herlings was the defending champion and defended his title with another win in 2024.
