Tomorrow and Sunday the sixth round of the ADAC MX Masters in Gaildorf promises several highlights. All four racing classes ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 will start on the traditional "Auf der Wacht" race track. In the top class, the leader of the table Max Nagl (D/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) can already mathematically win the title fight.
Fans can look forward to the comeback of Henry Jacobi (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team) as well as the starts of the new European champions Marcel Stauffer (A/Osicka MX Team) and Jakub Teresak (CZ/Enduro Koch Racing). In the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, Nico Greutmann (CH/Cat Moto Bauerschmidt Husqvarna) wants to extend his lead in the table.
The ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 starts again in Gaildorf after a two-event break. The previously unbeaten Maximilian Ernecker (A/F4E Gasgas Junior Racing) wants to continue his winning streak here. In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, Ryan Oppliger (CH/Oppliger Racing Sàrl) is arriving as the leader.
In the top class ADAC MX Masters, Max Nagl already has such a big lead in the table that he would retain the lead even if he did not score points in Gaildorf. The comfortable lead of 108 points also gives him the chance to be crowned champion early in Gaildorf if his closest rivals Maximilian Spies (D/Kosak Racing Team) and Adam Sterry (GB/Schmicker Racing) have bad luck in Gaildorf.
But Tom Koch (D/Kosak Racing Team), Jere Haavisto (FIN/Schmicker Racing) and Jordi Tixier (F/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by Krettek) also still have a mathematical chance of winning the title and want to reduce the gap to the leaders at the Wacht.
Of the top riders, Cornelius Töndel (NO/Schmicker Racing) will be absent due to a leg injury, but Henry Jacobi, who impressed with a strong race in Gaildorf last year, is returning to the series. Jakub Teresak was crowned European Champion in the Open class last weekend, while Marcel Stauffer became European Champion in the two-stroke category a week earlier. Both will be competing in Gaildorf. Dennis Ullrich (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), who particularly likes the tough terrain on the Wacht and has already celebrated many top successes there, also has big plans.
In the ADAC MX Youngster Cup, the battle at the top is tight between the new leader of the table Nico Greutmann and his pursuers Dave Kooiker (NL/Schmicker Racing), Maxime Grau (F/WZ-Racing KTM), Rasmus Pedersen (S/Rhino Racing Team), Bradley Mesters (NL/Kosak Racing Team) and Bence Pergel (HU/HTS KTM). In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125, riders such as Aron Katona (HU/HTS KTM), Raivo Laicans (LV/Sturm STC Racing) and Mick Kennedy (NL/Grip Messer Racing Team) will try to end the winning streak of leader Maximilian Ernecker, who has won all events so far. In the ADAC MX Junior Cup 85, Ryan Oppliger, Lucas Leok (EST/Team #111) and Ricardo Bauer (A/MSC Imbach Racing Team) have emerged as a top trio that is close together in the table.
In addition to the races, there is a full supporting program for spectators on site in Gaildorf with a large fan mile, freely accessible paddock and a large marquee with live music on three evenings. Young visitors have the opportunity to try out small quads and PW50 motorcycles on the Yamaha quad course. They can also let off steam on a bouncy castle.
On Sunday from 11.45 a.m. to 12.15 p.m., Max Nagl, Maximilian Spies, Adam Sterry, Henry Jacobi and Marcel Stauffer will be available to fans at the ADAC MX Masters truck for an autograph session. The Zillertal band “Höllawind” will kick off a hearty evening in the marquee on Friday from 8 p.m. The rock cover band “Lost Eden” will play on Saturday. The event will end on Sunday with the regionally known and popular “DJ Horli”. Tickets for the event can be purchased online in advance in the MSC Gaildorf ticket shop.
All races from Gaildorf will be broadcast in a free live stream. Between the races, numerous interviews will provide entertainment and current information. The live stream will be broadcast on adac.de/mx-masters. The broadcast begins on Saturday at 2:45 p.m., and on Sunday the broadcast starts at 9:50 a.m.
