World Championship leader Simon Längenfelder starts in the ADAC MX Masters. Max Nagl competes as half-time champion, DMX women with Kiara Fontanesi as guest starter.

This weekend (19/20 July), the ADAC MX Masters in Tensfeld enters its second half of the season. At the fifth event of the year, the riders of the ADAC MX Masters class will face strong competition from Simon Längenfelder (D/ Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team).

The world championship leader will make his debut in the class and will meet championship leader Max Nagl (D/Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing powered by Krettek).

The ADAC MX Youngster Cup and the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 will also compete on the sand track in Schleswig-Holstein again this year. As a guest class, the German Motocross Championship Women will also roll up to the starting gate.

Just one week after the fourth event, the riders of the ADAC MX Masters will compete again to collect important championship points. Nagl and his competitors will also have a difficult task: The current leader of the MX2 Motocross World Championship, Simon Längenfelder, will return to his sporting roots for a weekend.

The Upper Franconian knows the ADAC MX Masters very well – in 2019 he confidently secured the title in the ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and thus laid the foundation for his international career.

After six years, the ADAC Stiftung Sport-Pilot returns to the series as one of the most successful German motocrossers of the present day and will compete with the best ADAC MX Masters riders on the demanding clay circuit with his 250 cc factory KTM.

Längenfelder's start in Tensfeld could also stand for a change in German top motocross. The 38-year-old Nagl arrives as the leader of the table, but will not have it easy in the duel of the generation against the 21-year-old Längenfelder. No matter which of the two prevails, the winners are likely to be the fans.
