ADAC Masters - This Weekend
This coming Easter weekend (4/5 April), the ADAC MX Masters will start its 22nd season in Grevenbroich. Top-class national and international riders in the four classes ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 ensure a promising start in North Rhine-Westphalia.
A newly designed route of the well-known sand track on the "Königshovener Höhe" brings additional excitement into play. Fans can experience the races live on site as well as in the free livestream at adac.de/mx-masters .
With many familiar faces, the starting position in the top class ADAC MX Masters is exciting. Reigning champion Roan van de Moosdijk (NL/KTM Kosak Racing Team) will once again meet veteran Max Nagl (D/Dörr Motorsport Triumph Racing), who only lost the title at the last event after leading the championship for a long time last year.
With Maximilian Spies (D/Becker Racing) and Noah Ludwig (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), two young German talents are pushing hard towards the top. Former MX2 World Champion and two-time ADAC MX Masters Champion Jordi Tixier (F/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by DVAG) starts the new season fit and brings a similar experience to Nagl to the starting gate.
Tom Koch (D/KTM Sarholz Racing Team), for his part, is highly motivated to make a strong impression on his production comeback. With Marcel Stauffer (A/Osicka MX Team), another race and event winner of the series has confirmed his start in Grevenbroich at short notice.
Other international starters such as Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (EST/SHR Motorsports by Hartje), Jere Haavisto (FIN/Schmicker Silve Racing), Jakub Teresak (CZ/Visualz Production) and Harri Kullas (EST/Schmicker Silve Racing) are also recommended for podium finishes in the field with a high level of competition.
The German-speaking riders Mike Gwerder (CH/HTS Racing Team), Peter König (D/KTM GST Berlin Racing), Paul Haberland (D/MX-Academy Honda Racing by Meuwissen Motorsports), Cato Nickel (D/KMP-Honda-Racing powered by DVAG), Mark Scheu (D/Johannes-Bikes Suzuki), Toni Hoffmann (D/BVZ Racing), Max Thunecke (D/Johannes-Bikes Suzuki) and the rising star Nico Greutmann (CH/MX-Academy Honda Racing by Meuwissen Motorsports) also want to shine with top positions.
In addition to the ADAC MX Masters class, the junior classes ADAC MX Youngster Cup, ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 and ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 will also compete in Grevenbroich with participants from over 25 nations. The ADAC MX Masters and ADAC MX Youngster Cup classes will each contest three ranked races at the weekend, while the two ADAC MX Junior Cup classes will each contest two ranked races. The first races for championship points will take place on Saturday, immediately after the Last Chance race.
Fans can buy their tickets at the box office or online in advance via the website of the MSC Grevenbroich . At the ADAC MX Academy "on tour", children from the age of six can gain their first motocross experience in three-hour taster courses on site.
All races from Grevenbroich will be broadcast in a free live stream. Between the runs, numerous interviews provide entertainment and up-to-date information.
