In ridiculously tough conditions, Red Bull KTM factory rider, Andrea Adamo has won the opening MX2 moto around a wet and muddy Agueda circuit. After a one hour delay due to the horrible conditions, the MX2 boys had their work cut out for them, and it was the inform, Italian who shone. Backing up his Saturday moto win, he also took the openin moto on Sunday.

The 2023 MX2 World champion continues to cut the championship points lead to defending MX2 champion, Kay De Wolf, who finished third after a race long battle with another title contender, Simon Langenfelder, who finished second with a pass on the final lap of the moto.

Andrea Adamo: It was really crazy, we don't have often these conditions, it was surviving. I managed a decent start and made no mistakes. Very happy to win the first moto and now lets go to the second one.

Championship points are getting closer and closer, which are now Kay de Wolf 308 points, Simon Längenfelder 306pts, Andrea Adamo 293pts, Liam Everts 269pts and Thibault Benistant 211pts.

MX2 Moto One

Everts with the lead over Coenen, de Wolf, Adamo, Oliver, McLellan, Langenfelder, Prugnieres, Valin, and Zanchi, but then Everts slipped over and dropped to 19th place. Coenen now in the lead from de Wolf and Adamo as Everts moved into 16th spot.

Valk slid over and Everts again in trouble and de Wolf also crashed. Crazy with the mud here today. De Wolf dived up the inside of McLellan and caused the South African to crash. Everts now in 21st and de Wolf in third.

Mayhem and the top ten on lap two was, Coenen, Adamo, de Wolf, Langenfelder, Zanchi, Valin, Prugnieres, Reisulis, Lata and Benistant. McLellan 15th and Everts 18th. The lead by Coenen was 12 seconds, and he was looking very aggressive Coenen went down and Adamo took the lead with de Wolf second. Coenen stuck and struggling to get out of a big mud hole.

All riders looking completely out of control as they swap from side to side on this tough muddy track. De Wolf all over Adamo and Langenfelder also catching those two. Everts 14th. Adamo really the form rider at the moment.

Just five laps down and so much drama and so many crashes. A three-way battle for the lead as Adamo, de Wolf and Langenfelder fight in the mud. Everts up to 13th place. De Wolf covered in mud from the back wheel of de Wolf and none of the riders really looking comfortable.

De Wolf problems with his goggles and Langenfelder all over him now. Everts crashed again and he isn’t having fun in the mud, like he did in 2024. Adamo now a 3.7 second lead over de Wolf, and Langenfelder trying to stay off the line of de Wolf and keeping his goggles cleaner.

An interesting top ten with Adamo, de Wolf and Langenfelder, the three title contenders, and then Zanchi, Valin, Prugnieres, Reisulis, Elzinga, Oliver, and Mikula. De Wolf a mistake and the lead was now nine seconds for Adamo.

Lap eight and it was Adamo with an 11.4 second lead over Langenfelder, who had passed de Wolf, then Valin, Zanchi, Prugnieres, Elzinga, Reisulis, Oliver and Mikula. Coenen stuck in the fence and struggling to get going and Everts in 14th place. De Wolf back into second place as he passed Langenfelder.

Lap 10 and the lead by Adamo was 14.4 seconds over de Wolf, with Langenfelder a further two seconds back in third, then Valin, Zanchi, Prugnieres, Elzinga, Reisulis, Mikula and Latal 10th.
