Andrea Adamo has won the Saturday MX2 qualifier and fortunately for him, both championships rivals, Simon Langenfelder and Kay De Wolf had huge drama, with both crashing in the opening moto and struggling to come through the field. De Wolf did a better job, getting up to seventh spot, but Langenfelder scored zero points in 15th spot.

Coenen led the MX2 qualifier on lap one from Adamo, Everts, Valk, Elzinga, Lata, McLellan, Walvoort, Valin, and Farres 10th. Adamo quickly into the lead, De Wolf 14th and Langenfelder in last and stuck in the mechanics area. De Wolf a crash and stuck with three other riders, back in second last position. Langenfelder finally out of the mechanic are and in last spot. A big points change for Adamo in the title hunt.

Lap two and its Adamo, Coenen, Everts, Valk, Elzinga, Lata, McLellan, Valin, Farres, Walvoort in 10th. De Wolf in 20th and Langenfelder in 25th and miles behind 24th placed Vennekens and close to getting lapped by the leaders.

De Wolf into 17th spot and charging, while Langenfelder still in last place. Lap four and de Wolf 14th place and closing up on Benistant in 13th. The lead by Adamo was 2.9 seconds over Coenen, with Everts third, then Elzinga, Valk, Lata, McLellan, Valin, Farres, Walvoort, in 10th.

Lap seven the lead by Adamo was 3.6 seconds and it seems the 10 points are his, with Coenen second, Everts, Elzinga, Valk, making a Benelux train behind the Italian, then came Lata, McLellan, Valin, Farres and Walvoort. De Wolf into 13th with a pass on Benistant. De Wolf making passes everywhere as he moved into 11th place and now onto Farres in 10th place.

Lap 10 it was Adamo, Coenen, Everts, Elzinga, McLellan, Valin, Lata, De Wolf and Farres the top ten. De Wolf all over Lata, and Valk. De Wolf into eight place and now chasing Valk for seventh. Langenfelder still back in 19th and no points for the red plate man. De Wolf past Valk and into seventh spot.

De Wolf a big job to watch Valin and McLellan but really flying through the field. De Wolf onto Valin and McLellan, amazing riding by the Dutchman. Two laps remaining, but fifth is still possible, which would be a huge performance for De Wolf. De Wolf a mistake and looks like seventh will be it for today. Adamo wins it from Coenen and Everts.
