While we are not seeing any records broken this year when it comes to Grand Prix wins, we have seen Jeffrey Herlings pull further away from the likes of Stefan Everts, Antonio Cairoli and everyone else in the all-time list with his two GP wins, taking his tally to 109.

He stands tall as the best Grand Prix winner of all-time and like the long-standing record of first Joel Robert of 50 and then Stefan Everts of 101, it might be another 30 years before anyone gets to that magical tally of the Flying Dutchman.

Also climbing up the all-time list in 2025 is Tim Gajser, who went from 49 to 52, as he passed Roberts tally of 50. The five-time World motocross champion has Joel Smets not far ahead of him on 57 GP wins, but after that, he won’t be catching the next man in line, Antonio Cairoli with 94 GP wins.

Current red plate holder, Romain Febvre went to 25 GP wins with his victories this year and is 19th in the all-time winners list. He is now level with the great British rider, Jeff Smith, has Alessio Chiodi just ahead of him with 26 GP wins and is in sight of some other legends in Dave Strijbos (27), Paul Friedrichs, Georges Jobe and Andre Malherbe (28) and Gaston Rahier (30).

No doubt, the Frenchman would like to also join Smith as a two time World motocross champion, if he can capture this years MXGP championship. He is of course the leader in that race for the 2025 title, but its a long way to go before he gets that second championship.

Two youngsters, Lucas Coenen and Kay De Wolf moved into fifth and sixth places in the current riders win list, with 15 and 14 GP wins each and Maxime Renaux, Simon Langenfelder, Andrea Adamo and Liam Everts all added to their tallies and move up the current rider list.

The Belgian and the Dutchmen are also closing up on Hakan Carlqvist in the all-time list, who is 30th on the all-time list with 20 GP wins. Both should reach that target in the next 12 months and enter a very special list of legends.
