Alpinestars’ MX26 Collection continues to evolve the brand’s race-proven protection and performance legacy. Rooted in racing-driven product development, MX26 introduces new technical innovations across head protection, footwear, body protection, goggles and gear—built to meet the needs of elite athletes and everyday riders alike.

HELMETS: NEW S-M7 LINE - Developed by Alpinestars Advanced Head protection laboratory in coordination with its global racing program, the all-new S-M7 Helmet debuts as a premium performance option with advanced shell engineering and integrated energy management. The S-M7 Helmet, engineered for off-road racing, is optimized to offer the perfect blend of superior ventilation, comfort and lightweight design, with an aerodynamically optimized composite shell for exceptional impact protection. In addition to Alpinestars patented A-Head Fitment and Visor Detachment Systems, the S-M7 is equipped with innovative PLASMA technology at the lower side of the shell edge for optimum energy dissipation in case of contact with the collarbone area.

The S-M7 Helmet offers the following key features:

Energy-Deflecting design: The helmet’s shell profile is engineered to reduce friction and deflect impact forces away from the head, enhancing protection for the skull, neck, and spine in the event of a crash.

Aero-Optimized Design: The S-M7’s aerodynamic profile design offers a smooth, streamlined shell free of any external channels and features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmet’s construction.

PLASMA Inside: Alpinestars' patented PLASMA technology is strategically-integrated into the S-M7’s side pads for high performance shock absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing the risk of injuries. The impact-dissipating PLASMA inserts at the lower shell edge are designed to reduce collarbone contact injuries.

A-Head Fitment System: Alpinestars’ patented A-Head Fitment System allows riders to fine-tune the helmet’s height and angle that the helmet sits on the rider’s head for an optimized, performance fit.

Patented Visor Release System: The S-M7’s patented Visor Release System is designed to detach during a crash, reducing the risk of helmet damage or rotational injury. The S-M7’s visor is engineered to automatically detach from the shell when it is subjected to an impact energy greater than 15 Joules for optimum impact protection, regardless of the direction.

Multi-Layer Composite Shell: The helmet’s shell construction utilizes a highly advanced molding technology with a pre-preg carbon, fiberglass and aramid composite construction that delivers enhanced mechanical performance with an ultra-light overall weight.

S-M7 Proven Performance: The S-M7’s linear and oblique impact performance significantly exceeds current helmet regulation standards. Specific rotational impact protection is provided by the combination of the internal shape and specific coating of the EPS liner, coupled with a specially-developed surface in the comfort liner. Alpinestars' patented coating technology reduces rotational acceleration transmitted to the rider’s head. The S-M7 Helmet exceeds the new ECE 22.06 Peak Rotational Acceleration standard by 76%.

Ultra-Ventilated Design: the helmet has 13 intake and 7 exhaust ports to ensure high-flow ventilation.

Shell Sizing for Optimal Fit: The S-M7 shell sizing solution ensures each helmet fit size delivers the most anatomical solution for the proper fit, which not only improves comfort and reduces overall weight, but most importantly, improves the effectiveness of the helmet in an impact.

New S-M7 models include Solid, Cast, Deed, Dasher, Fuse, Core, and Rise. Updates are also introduced across the S-M10, S-M5, and S-M3 ranges, including youth-specific helmet options.

NEW MX26 FOOTWEAR: TECH 7 ENDURO BOOTS - The MX26 footwear range is headlined by the new Tech 7 Enduro Boot, purpose-built with a specialized foot fit and dedicated sole for off-road terrain. Key updates include:

MX GEAR: MODERN AND HERITAGE-DRIVEN DESIGN, MODERNIZED FUNCTION

Drawing inspiration from the golden era of motocross, the MX26 gear collection fuses retro style with cutting-edge performance. Each design reflects the aesthetics and attitude of late '80s and '90s race culture—when vibrant colorways, hand-drawn graphics, and raw grit defined the scene.

Nearly 50 adult and 15 youth kits push technical apparel forward while honoring MX’s deep roots. MX26 Gear Highlights include:

Alpinestars Force Deflection (AFD) Technology: Featuring Alpinestars’ proprietary Force Deflection (AFD) technology, introduced at Round 5 of the Monster Energy AMA SX Championship with the Limited Edition Supertech MIG kit. The AFD System is integrated seamlessly into the jersey’s construction and is designed to further elevate rider safety. This jersey integrates low-friction sliding zones designed to reduce shoulder impact stress in crashes or contact with the ground. The new AFD technology helps to deflect impact forces by facilitating rotation or an internal sliding movement upon the rider’s contact with the ground, resulting in significantly lower oblique stress being transmitted to the shoulder and in turn reducing the risk of rider injury.

MX26 Gear highlights include:

Supertech AFD Vista: The clean, racing-oriented graphic treatments and color blocking give prominence to riders names and numbers on the back. The gear sees angular Astars branding, paired with bold and streamlined graphics, giving the gear a sharp race-day identity while delivering class-leading safety.

Supertech Vista and Supertech Scenz: The Supertech range brings a unique feel with the distinguished oversized Astars logo and Astars wordmark on the chest. The color, texture, and fade of the gear look fast on the track, evoking the golden era of late '80s and early '90s motocross.

Techstar Knif/Techstar Nomur: The Techstar line nods to late ‘90s and early 2000s factory racing styles. Techstar Knif uses race-inspired contrasts and new, fresh, contrasting color combinations; Techstar Nomur leans into streetwear flair with speckled fades while angular accents accentuate the pointy spikes around the Astars logos with hints to the past.

Racer Riway/Racer Portal and Racer Air Riway/Racer Air Portal: The gear leverages updated color blocking, unique gradients, and complementary color combinations with Racer Portl and bold contrasting colors for the Racer Riway gear, both styles have modern graphic placement to keep things sharp and track-ready.

Racer Lahnd pays clear homage to classic motocross heritage with a unique modern camo interpretation, combining minimalist graphics with a fresh, contemporary vibe that is sure to look amazing on the race track.

Fluid Apex/Grid: Built for riders who live and breathe motocross, the Fluid Apex and Fluid Grid kits channel core Alpinestars energy with bold color fades, clean lines, and high-impact graphics. Fluid Apex is race-driven and factory team inspired, featuring performance-oriented textile mapping and gradient treatments that make a statement. Fluid Grid leans into vibrant color blocking and striking contrast, designed to look fast—on and off the bike.
