KTM launched its factory racing teams for 2021, and former factory Kawasaki and Suzuki rider Joey Savatgy will race next year with the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS team alongside Justin Bogle.

Of course yesterday the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team announced its three-rider lineup alongside a press event held yesterday at the company’s North American test track facility “RD Field” in Southern California.

Featuring two of the sport’s top contenders – Marvin Musquin and Cooper Webb – in the 450 cc division, the team is also proud to welcome rising star Maximus Vohland to its in-house 250 cc effort as the orange bleeder is set to make his professional debut in 2021.

The Smartop Bullfrog Spas Honda team will have Vince Friese, Broc Tickle, Shane McElrath and Benny Bloss.

Manluk/Rock River Yamaha/Merge Racing team has signed Alex Martin and the former Team USA rider is more than happy to have something organized for 2021.

“I’m super excited to be working with my new team Manluk/Rock River Yamaha/Merge Racing. I had some of the best years of my career with Yamaha. I’m looking forward to what the new team can do in 2021. Three great organizations and I’m grateful that we could organize this new team."

Australian Aaron Tanti will travel to the US full-time in 2021 after agreeing to join Robbie Wageman at Team Solitaire Nuclear Blast Yamaha for Monster Energy Supercross within 250SX West.

Tanti, 24, lined up in the opening six rounds of this year’s championship and scored a best result of ninth in Oakland, sitting 14th in the point-standings following San Diego when he returned home to the factory-backed Serco Yamaha team.

“I’m really excited to be doing the full Supercross season with the support of Team Solitaire Nuclear Blast Yamaha,” Tanti commented. “Competing in the United States has been a dream of mine since before I can remember. The whole team has been working extremely hard to make this a smooth transition and I’m really excited to begin preparing for the west region Supercross championship.”

Californian native Wageman will continue with Team Solitaire Nuclear Blast Yamaha next season, the 21-year-old earning a best finish of 12th at Glendale and going on to finish 17th overall in the championship.

“2020 was a crazy year for not only me and the team, but for the whole industry,” Wageman reflected. “I think we made steps toward where we all want to be, but we have more to give. I also think it’s important to recognize both Feld and MX Sports for doing an amazing job to keep us racing – I couldn’t be more stoked to get behind that gate in 2021.”

Of course earlier in the month GasGas Motorcycles is proud to announce the highly-anticipated Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/ GasGas Factory Racing team line-up, as they prepare to compete in both the 250cc and 450cc divisions of the AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross Championships for the 2021 season and beyond.

Highlighting the team’s 450 effort is Justin “BAM BAM” Barcia, a seasoned front-runner who is looking to re-establish himself as a title contender in the premier class aboard the GasGas MC 450F. In the 250 division, we’re excited to welcome longtime Troy Lee Designs athlete and rookie standout Pierce Brown to race aboard the MC 250F alongside teammate Michael Mosiman, who is eager to pick up where he left off last season as a 250 class front-runner.
