Americans At Stuttgart SX
Plenty of young American talent racing in the SX2 class at the Stuttgart supercross in early November. Izaih Clark, who has run up front in AMA 350 supercross races will lead his fellow Americans into the event.
With Preston Boespflug, Jesson Turner, Jace Kessler, Brandon Ray, Hamden Hudso joining Clark in Germany. All try and hold up the honour of USA and become Prince of Stuttgart.
Clark who is one of the many talented American riders and races for the Honda HRC Progressive team at home, had a tough end to his night at the Philadelphia SX earlier in the year. Clark got a great start in the 250SX main event and was running as high as third at one point before a big crash ended his night early. He will be one to watch at the German race.
In SX2, the best young crossers in Europe are allowed to show off, who are on the verge of making the leap into the premier class. At the start in Stuttgart are around 30 riders aged 21 years or more with the permitted machines (250 cc/4-stroke or 125 cc/2-stroke).
The best twelve will be able to prove their skills in the evening. That's why the elimination races for the SX2 drivers will take place in the afternoon. In the evening there will be two ranked races with points classification for all qualifiers. The point winner is the winner of the day.
The best driver after both days of the event can call himself "Prince of Stuttgart". Like the SX1 class, the entourage will continue to Dortmund to crown the ADAC Supercross champion of the season in Germany.
