Max Anstie will be lining up to race the World supercross round of the British GP in October and there cannot be a fan who doesn’t want to see the World 250 supercross champion perform in front of his home fans.

Anstie, who put together that 1-1 performance at the Motocross of Nations in October 2017. This remarkable performance was a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his potential in the motocross world. Well, he is going to be back in the UK, again in October, but this time indoors in Birmingham.

“I’m really excited about making World Supercross happen again. Obviously, I’ve won it twice now, and it means a lot to me. The Rick Ware guys, they’ve been obviously really successful with Shane and stuff in the past in the 250 class and obviously having a super solid lineup of guys with Coop and stuff in the 450 class. The way it all pieced together, and it’s unfortunate for Cody, because obviously Cody was lined up to ride for Rick Ware, and then he ended up getting injured.”

It was big news this week, when Anstie signed up with the Rick Ware racing team, after leaving Star Racing Yamaha a week ago. The former GP, MXoN and WSX winner is super excited to race in a series, he has done very well in.

“The first round is Calgary in four weeks, it’s the in middle of outdoors. (On staying with Star and doing WSX) It’s a bit of a mission, and basically, for one reason or another, clearly, it’s just the number of guys that they’ve got at Star. It was going to be possible, and it wasn’t going to be possible, then it was, and it wasn’t. But basically, it wasn’t going to work out to race that, and for me, that championship means a lot, because obviously I’ve got a British round for round two, and the way it works out, I make more money doing that than what I do the whole year on Star anyway."

Two-time AMA Supercross 250SX East Champion Tom Vialle will make his FIM World Supercross Championship debut later this year after confirming he will compete as a wildcard in the SX1 class at the British GP in Birmingham on 10 October.
