Magic Max Anstie has proved too strong again, winning the second SX2 heat ahead of Park and McElrath. The Brit took the lead on turn one and just rode off into the distance. A veteran of the sport, it was an eight win in the 2025 series for the former MXGP and MXoN winner.

Max Anstie: I tried some different lines and they are really slippery and really slick and the bike breaks traction easy, but the bike is working amazing and thanks for everyone coming out there and lets get it done.

Anstie with the holeshot in the second SX2 race, with Schock Lopes trying to stay with him, but Anstie just too smooth and too fast up front. Second was Lopes, then Park, Schock, Hicks, McElrath, Chisholm, Humprey, Thompson and Peters 10th.

Lopes a crash and the lead by Anstie is now huge as Park into second and Schock third. McElrath into fourth place and looking good, but not his usual self. Lopes back in 13th place after his crash. Chisholm passed Schock, but Schock then back into fifth place as Lopes retired to the pits.

McElrath doing his best to pass Park, as they fight for second place, some six seconds behind Anstie. Anstie wins it from Park and McElrath.
