Max Anstie continues to dominate the SX2 class in the world supercross championship, by taking the opening race in Sweden tonight. The British riders passed Shane McElrath late in the race after a poor start to win from McElrath and Coty Schock.

The Stark Future machine of Jeff Hicks led early, before McElrath moved into the lead and then Anstie making a pass in the final laps to win it.
