Arenacross and Dirt Store
The Arenacross World Tour is delighted to announce a new official partnership with Dirt Store, the UK’s favourite off-road online retailer who have been supporting multiple branches of dirt bike sport since its establishment in 2023, as well as competing at the sharp end in every discipline!
The new partnership will see the 2026 series named as Arenacross, Presented by Dirt Store, with many plans in the works to enhance the experience for fans at the races and beyond, giving Dirt Store a massive presence around the arena as well as on track of course, as their Dirt Store Triumph Racing team riders Dylan Woodcock and Eddie Wade battle it out on the black and yellow British machines!
"We’re incredibly proud to announce Dirt Store as the presenting partner of the 2026 series — meaning this season will officially be Arenacross, Presented by Dirt Store,” said Arenacross owner and promoter Matt Bates. “We’ve been working closely with the Dirt Store team for the past couple of years and the partnership has grown naturally because there’s a huge amount of synergy between our brands. They live and breathe Motocross, they genuinely care about the sport, and they’ve always backed Arenacross in a meaningful way. Beyond that, they’re just a brilliant bunch of people to work with — supportive, proactive and fully invested in what we’re building. We’re excited to take things to the next level together and we’re looking forward to delivering an incredible 2026 Arenacross Tour for riders, fans and the entire motocross community.”
Dirt Store itself is the brainchild of brothers Dan and Jon Giffard, with Jon running the race team and Dan the business side. Based in East Sussex but shipping across the UK and beyond, the passionate family business has become prevalent across the sport since its very inception, and the brand has appeared on the kit of some of the world’s best, with Jeffrey Herlings and Kay de Wolf carrying their logo, as well as Tommy Searle, who took the MX2 British Motocross Championship in his first year with the Dirt Store Triumph Racing squad. Young British talent such as Billy Askew and a horde of youth riders have also enjoyed the support of this incredible brand.
Dan himself is very happy to be associated with the Arenacross series: “What Matt brings to the table with Arenacross is something that can truly attract people to the sport, where kids can say “I want to do that”, and even some casual fans will say “I want some more of this!” Adding to our involvement with both Motocross and Enduro, to be the official presenting partners of Arenacross in the UK means a lot to us and we will make the most of it!
We’re riders first — and our mission has always been to fuel that passion with the best off-road products and the best service, while giving back to the sport through real event support. We aim to be the UK's leading Motocross retailer and we genuinely feel that Arenacross can help with that. We’ve worked alongside Arenacross for the past couple of years and it’s the perfect fit for our community and our customers. The series is loud, modern and built around proper racing — exactly what Dirt Store is about — and we can’t wait for an incredible 2026 season.”
Jon and his brother Dan have lived a life full of Motocross for as long as they can remember, from racing to a high level, to wielding the spanners for some of Britain’s very best, and now to forming one of the UK’s leading distribution companies and premier Motocross teams.
Jon Giffard spun the spanners for many of Britain’s best in the 2000s, and started JGR Performance to put his technical skills and world-class experience to use in a business environment, then they founded a successful youth Motocross team in 2020. The Giffard Racing Team (GRT) competed with some of Britain’s rising stars and immediately imposed an impressive presence in the paddock.
Through conversations with Nick Turner-Goldsmith of GTCi, who was a major sponsor of Searle, the Dirt Store brand was born in late 2023, and pushing their presence with title sponsorship of the British Motocross Championship, as well as with Tommy’s efforts as then defending Arenacross Champion, the company is in everyone’s face wherever there are dirt bikes in numbers.
The association with Triumph came through the British manufacturer’s impressive expansion into the dirt bike world, and they are becoming a serious force in world Motocross, with both Searle and Askew winning at British Championship level, and they are now attacking the world stage with new signing Ben Watson, who will also be a prime contender for the premiere class in outdoors racing in the UK.
With Woodcock and Wade representing the brand on-track, there are serious chances of success there as well. And the fans will benefit plenty from this collaboration as well, so stay tuned for more news to come on what Dirt Store will bring to the Arenacross party!
