Arenacross - New Schedule
The 2026 Arenacross Tour has announced an ‘all new’ race schedule for the Night Show, kick off this Saturday at the BP Pulse Live Arena at the NEC complex in Birmingham.
The new schedule will see the AX Pro Riders hit the track up to five times through the night, as Arenacross debuts a new three-race format with Main Events getting progressively longer, while introducing a Hot Lap Qualification session and keeping those fan favourite Head-to-Head two-rider sprint showdowns, which will now feature every Pro athlete on the roster!
Following the AX Fan Zone opening at 4pm, where ticket holders can meet the Pro Riders as well as the entire Dirt Store Triumph Racing Motocross & Enduro squad (including Tommy Searle) for no extra cost, the main Show will start with Pro Rider introductions at 18:30, as hosts Matt Crowhurst and Jeff Perrett will bring the stars of the Show out into the spotlights amongst the world-class light and sound show that tells you in no uncertain terms – this is Arenacross!
Then we’ll rip straight into the first Freestyle Show as the AX FMX squad will astound you with what dirt bikes can do, closer to the ceiling than to the floor!
Just 20 minutes into the show will come the first track action, as the AX Pro Hot Lap Qualification session will set the top riders against the clock for that vital gate pick – expect them to ride on the edge at maximum effort, probably more than at any other time!
The Pros will go straight from that session into the first Main Event, just half an hour after the start of the Show! This 12-lap clash will get the riders their first points-scoring opportunity of the night, all counting towards the Arenacross British Championship.
Following the Pros, the kids will hit the track as first the AX Mini, then the eMini class terriers get their chance to shine under the lights, way past their usual bedtime. Then the Interval will give the crowd a chance to catch their breath and grab some refreshments before the FMX boys light it all up again at 8pm with their second show.
The second AX Pro Main Event will extend to 14 laps, again all counting towards the Championship, before the new Pro-Am class get their Main Event for the night, with 10 gruelling laps for the mix of Amateur and Youth stars to slice and dice on one of the biggest nights of their lives!
The stars of the future in the SuperMini Main Event will then get their chance in a seven-lap dash at 8:30pm, before the Head-to-Head races get the fans roaring, especially as they will feature all of the top stars, they’re not just for qualifying anymore as Championship points will be on the line. We’ll also see the first-ever Arenacross 3 rider Head to Head Main Event!
At five to nine the FMX boys will unleash their biggest tricks with their third and final display, so get those devices ready to capture the most daring aerial acrobatics of the night! Then, in a true test of stamina for the AX Pro riders, their third and final Main Event will get underway at ten past nine, this time a track-tearing 16-lap affair that will come down to survival of the fittest. This Main Event will also feature a reverse grid line-up on the start-gate, meaning the fastest riders go the grid last!
The Podium and Award ceremony will bring the show to an end, where you can see what it all means to the top riders on the night. This incredible Show is one that you need to see in the flesh, in the actual arena itself. The 2026 Tour will not be streamed live, so the only way to experience Arenacross this year is to join us in person and experience the full show right in front of your eyes!
