Arenacross - Promising Stars
Arenacross, Presented by Dirt Store, will continue to allow Amateur riders who race for the love of the sport to compete under the lights once more in 2026, however this time they will be pitched against the rising stars of tomorrow as the Pro-Am class merges with the AX Futures division!
Always one of the most entertaining races in the programme, the Amateurs who range from their teens to their early thirties will battle it out in what is sure to be a thrilling contest for both spectators and viewers alike!
The line-up will include 2024 Pro AM Champion Josh Greedy, brother of long-time fan favourite Ashley from the Welsh valleys. Devonshire ace Josh Taylor will bring some British Championship Motocross experience to the arenas, and 2007 Big-Wheel 85cc Supercross Champion Ross Clarke will also get in the mix. County Omagh’s teenage flyer Lewis Spratt moves to four-stroke power for the first time and has competed in the World Junior MX finals for Team Ireland.
The youngest rider in the field, Kian John from Llanelli, will turn 15 on the very first day of the 2026 tour! Formerly runners up in the Futures Championship, Harry Lee from Sussex and Austin Beasty from Yorkshire, will be looking to go one better and will surely trouble Greedy and co with their pace. Wiltshire boy Fabian Junior Morrison and Hertfordshire’s Oliver Williams will continue their Arenacross adventure from the Futures class, as will Birmingham local Oliver Davis for the fifth straight year!
"We’re massively excited to combine the Futures and Amateur riders for the 2026 Tour” —said Arenacross owner and promoter Matt Bates. “The younger riders will learn more from racing against those with more experience, and they might even teach the older lads a thing or two! It should make for a thoroughly entertaining spectacle, spicing up the racing and pushing the best riders on to a possible spot in the Pro ranks for the future.”
So as well as the incredible skills of the Pro stars, the fireworks of the Freestyle Show, and the cuteness of the Mini and Supermini classes, the Pro-Am class will pit teenage tearaways against eager Amateurs for what should be some typically dramatic Arenacross action! This all adds up to one incredible show, heading to Birmingham on the 31st January! Not to be missed!
