Aussie SX - Track Design
The 2025 Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship kicks off in Moreton Bay with its most dynamic track build ever, revealed today as tickets officially go on sale Wednesday, 18 July at 10am AEST.
Designed by Australia’s leading track builders Protraxx, the layout transforms Kayo Stadium into an US-standard Supercross track, utilising all 9,000m2 of floor space, by importing over 6,000 tonnes of locally sourced topsoil, which will be specially sourced for 2025 to improve the racing surface from 2024.
Protraxx will lead the design and construction of all tracks across the 2025 AUSX Championship, ensuring consistency, creativity, and world-class standards at every round.
From a sweeping first-turn entry to a technical over-under bridge, the layout is engineered for both speed and spectacle — promising back-to-back nights of bar-to-bar action as the Championship launches on October 11 and 12.
“This is one of our most ambitious builds yet — fast, technical, and built to ensure side by side, intense racing,” said Josh Proctor, Protraxx Director. “We’ve added new sections and elevated the layout in ways fans haven’t seen before — it’s going to test riders to the maximum, from the first gate drop.”
Redcliffe delivered some of the most exciting and unpredictable racing we’ve seen — and that set the bar for 2025,” said Mick Sinclair, Head of Motorsport & Partnerships. “We’re not just building a track — we’re building an experience. This layout is about bringing fans even closer to the action and launching the season with something unforgettable.”
