Benistant Wins Saturday - MX2
It looked like Red Bull KTM Factory rider Sasha Coenen was really starting to warm up in his career with a victory in the MX2 qualification race, however a final lap crash saw him drop to third position. Heartbreak for the Belgian rider. Thibault Benistant from the Monster Energy Yamaha factory team took the victory and Lucas Coenen and Sasha Coenen finished second and third.
Thibault Benistant: I was feeling good, but a bit tight in a momtn. I took a good start and its nice to start at the front. I pushed until the end and I know Sasha sometimes makes mistakes, but I was a little lucky and its been a while since I won a moto, so that is nice.
