Bolt Defends Title in 2026
Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt is set to begin the defence of his FIM SuperEnduro World Championship crown this weekend as the 2026 season kicks off in Gliwice, Poland. With a productive off-season behind him, Bolt is fully prepared for the seven-round series and focused on claiming an incredible sixth consecutive indoor world title.
Arriving as a five-time SuperEnduro champion, Billy begins the new campaign fresh off a strong runner-up finish in the 2025 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, bringing renewed confidence and sharp race fitness into the indoor campaign. While the switch in disciplines left only a short window to adapt to the fast-paced, sprint-style SuperEnduro format, Billy is confident of kicking off his title defence with a strong start this weekend in Poland.
Last winter, the British rider delivered a perfect indoor season, winning every round in an exemplary title defence – a flawless record he aims to replicate for another year aboard his FE 350.
The 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship begins this Saturday in Poland, before continuing in the new year in Germany, Spain, Hungary and Serbia. Bolt’s home round takes place in Newcastle, United Kingdom on 28 February, before the series concludes in France on 7 March.
Billy Bolt: “I’m really excited to be back racing SuperEnduro. It’s been a very quick turnaround after the Hard Enduro season, so everything has felt a bit manic, but it’s good to come into the winter healthy and feeling positive. Even though the short break isn’t ideal, being uninjured makes a big difference and I’m enjoying getting back into the SuperEnduro rhythm. It’s great to be back on the 350 again, and I’m looking forward to putting in a strong performance at the first round this weekend.”
Fabio Farioli – Husqvarna Factory Racing Enduro Team Manager: "We are very excited for the start of the new SuperEnduro season. Billy will be defending his title against a strong field of competitors, and he is even more determined than ever to fight for every victory. We know how tough he is and that he will give everything on the track. We didn’t make many changes to the bike from last year, since time after the end of the Hard Enduro Championship was limited, but even after just a few test rides the FE 350 already felt excellent. Billy has built great momentum and confidence during the off-season, and we believe he has everything it takes to continue his dominance in the series. The team is fully behind him as he tackles the challenges of the indoor tracks and pushes for another championship."
