Bolt Wins In Germany
Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt has delivered a flawless performance on his FE 350 at round two of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, claiming the overall victory in Riesa, Germany. Bolt secured maximum points on the night to increase his advantage at the top of the championship standings after two of seven rounds.
After posting the second-fastest time in practice while familiarising himself with the track, Bolt increased his pace when it mattered most in SuperPole. Delivering the fastest lap of the session, he secured three valuable points and first gate pick for race one.
Making the most of his starting position in the first final, Billy launched out of the gate to claim the holeshot and quickly built a lead out front. A small mistake allowed rival Jonny Walker to edge past, setting up an intense and sustained battle for the win. The pair traded positions multiple times in a thrilling bar-to-bar fight, before a late error from Walker allowed Bolt to regain the lead in the final minute. From there, Billy controlled the closing stages to cross the line with a five-second advantage.
Race two saw Bolt start from the second row under the reverse-grid format, but an assertive inside line off the start enabled him to take control of the race almost immediately. Feeding off the electric atmosphere inside the packed arena, the five-time SuperEnduro World Champion delivered a commanding ride, steadily extending his advantage and leading from start to finish in a dominant display of speed and precision.
Returning to the front row for race three, Billy once again executed a perfect start to secure the holeshot and open up a decisive lead within the opening lap. Settling into a smooth and composed rhythm at the front, the FE 350 racer delivered a mistake-free ride to take a convincing win by seven seconds and complete a perfect night in Germany.
With victories in SuperPole and all three finals, Bolt secured the maximum points haul in Riesa and maintains his lead in the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship standings after two rounds of seven. The series continues with round three in Bilbao, Spain, on January 17.
Billy Bolt: “It was a perfect night with the SuperPole win and three race victories, so I’m really happy with how things went. As always in Riesa, it was a tough day on a challenging track and the level was incredibly close, with very little separating everyone, especially in SuperPole. To come away with three race wins in those conditions is really satisfying. It’s a great result for the championship and, just as importantly, a big boost for confidence. The team and bike are working really well, and I’m already looking forward to heading to Bilbao in a few weeks’ time.”
Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team’s Jonny Walker has delivered another strong performance at round two of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, finishing second overall in Riesa, Germany. Backed by consistent results across the night aboard the TF 450-E, Walker maintains second place in the championship after two rounds.
Walker began the evening in confident fashion by topping the timed practice session, immediately setting the pace on Riesa’s technical indoor track, which once again featured the venue’s iconic bridge obstacle. In SuperPole, a small mistake cost the Brit valuable time and placed him fifth on the grid, but he was quick to make amends once racing began.
Getting underway in race one with a strong start, Walker was lying second in the early stages before capitalising on a mistake from the leader to move into first. An intense battle followed, with bar-to-bar racing thrilling the packed arena. Despite leading for much of the moto, a late error allowed his rival back through, leaving Jonny to cross the line in second after a highly competitive opening race.
Race two saw Jonny line up from the second row for the reverse-grid start, where a controlled and assertive opening lap allowed him to climb quickly into third. Applying pressure in the fight for second, Walker executed a decisive pass before turning his focus to closing down the race leader. Although unable to bridge the final gap, he secured another second-place finish, further strengthening his overall position for the night.
In the final race of the evening, the TF 450-E rider did not get the cleanest start and found himself fighting from fifth in the early laps. Demonstrating his trademark determination, he worked his way forward into podium contention and spent much of the race battling for third. However, a mistake on the final lap dropped him back to fifth, bringing an end to an otherwise consistent and hard-fought race.
With a 2-2-5 scorecard, Walker claimed second overall on the night and continues to lie second in the championship standings after two rounds of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship. The series now heads to Bilbao, Spain, for round three on January 17, where Walker and the Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team will look to maintain their strong momentum.
Jonny Walker: “I’m a bit surprised to come away with second place tonight, as I didn’t feel at my best on the track and struggled at times. That said, I’m happy with the result and the points. I had a big crash in the final race and hurt my arm slightly, but I’m hopeful I can get some good training done this week and come back stronger for Bilbao.”
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia and Manuel Lettenbichler have delivered standout performances at round two of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Riesa, Germany. Garcia impressed once again as a wildcard entry, racing to a phenomenal third overall on the night, while Lettenbichler showed strong pace and consistency to secure sixth.
Following a strong showing in practice, Garcia qualified for SuperPole and gave his all on the one-lap shootout. Looking fast and comfortable on his KTM 250 EXC-F, the reigning EnduroGP World Champion went second fastest on the demanding German track.
Pushing hard out of the gate in race one, Garcia was held up in the first turn and lost ground, with teammate Lettenbichler slipping past in the chaos. Regrouping quickly, both KTM riders charged forward and broke into the top five. Midway through the moto, Garcia made a clean pass on Lettenbichler to take control of fourth and held firm to the finish. Lettenbichler crossed the line in fifth – a strong ride from a second-row start.
The reverse-grid second final saw Lettenbichler grab the holeshot aboard his KTM 300 EXC, before being passed by championship leader Billy Bolt. Staying composed, Lettenbichler held strong in second for much of the race before slipping to fourth with three laps remaining – a position he maintained to the flag. Garcia, caught up once again in the first-turn traffic, battled his way forward with precision to claim a hard-fought sixth.
Carving through turn one in second place, Josep Garcia made a blistering start to race three. Although he briefly dropped to third before the end of the opening lap, the Spaniard immediately fought back to reclaim the position. Delivering an exceptional ride in just his second-ever SuperEnduro outing, Garcia crossed the line in a well-earned second place. Manuel Lettenbichler delivered another consistent performance, climbing into sixth early on and holding the position to the finish.
With two SuperPole points and race results of 4-6-2, Garcia secured a superb third overall on the night – a standout achievement for the classic enduro star. Lettenbichler’s 5-4-6 scorecard placed him sixth overall, further strengthening his top-six position in the championship standings.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing now looks ahead to round three of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, where Josep Garcia will line up for his third and final wildcard appearance of the season on home soil in Bilbao, Spain, on January 17.
Josep Garcia: “To be honest, to finish on the podium at a round of SuperEnduro was not one of my goals this season. The plan was to come here, enjoy it, and just try to learn as much as possible. I gave 100 percent as always here in Germany, and it’s paid off. I really liked the track – it wasn’t too technical and suited my style quite well. After taking second in SuperPole, I didn’t have much luck in the first two race starts as I got tangled up a little. In the last race, I knew I had to get through and make a good start, and it all went well, thankfully. I pushed for the whole race, and it paid off. Thanks to all the team for helping me achieve one of my dreams and I’ll see you in Bilbao.”
Manuel Lettenbichler: "It’s been great to race in front on my home fans here in Germany – the atmosphere has been electric. The races went well; I got some pretty decent starts and managed to fight my way through the carnage most of the time. I was close to getting on the podium in race two but didn’t quite have the pace. In the last race, I got up to sixth and was able to stay there to the finish. I’m happy with sixth overall on the night and looking forward to the next one.”
