Carved into a chalk valley near Swindon, UK, the Foxhill motocross circuit rose to international fame in the 1990s as the host of the British Motocross Grand Prix. It hosted the sport's first-ever double-header in 1995 and the legendary 1998 Motocross of Nations.

Following dilapidated conditions in the early 2000s, the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) leased and softened the track for amateur use. It recently enjoyed a major resurgence by hosting the VMXdN (Veterans Motocross des Nations) and has officially returned to the elite world stage for the MXGP of Great Britain.
