American's leading media source, RacerX have reported that Lucas and Sacha Coenen will race the Thunder Valley National round on June 13. Of course, if the two brothers do race, its huge news for the AMA Nationals, which will already have names like Jett and Hunter Lawrence, Haiden Deegan, Eli Tomac in the 450 class and names like Max Anstie, Jo Shimoda, Cole Davies and and many more in the 250 class.

Of course, it had been reported in the past that both Coenen brothers would race in USA last year and also in a few rounds of the AMA supercross this year, so for now, lets wait until the entries arrive or the press release from KTM is put out.

The two brothers, deep in the championship fight in both MXGP and MX2 would be taking a big risk, as Thunder Valley, which is the third round of the 2026 AMA Nationals, and on June 13, so it will be the week after the Latvian GP at Kegums and the week before the Italian GP at te Montevarchi circuit.

It would be a very tough schedule, but these boys are both young and will be super excited to battle the likes of the Lawrence brothers, Deegan, Tomac, Anstie, Davies, Shimoda and the rest of the leading AMA 450 and 250 riders.

With it obviously being a GP free weekend, you can be sure all eyes from Europe will be following the action and supporting our European brothers.
