Red Bull KTM factory rider, Sasha Coenen took a flag to flag victory, while behind him a world MX2 championship was being battled out. Second in the moto was Kay De Wolf, and third Simon Langenfelder, with the Dutchman gaining two points on his German rivals and the gap now just nine points in the 2025 MX2 championship points, 808 to 799.

Sasha Coenen: I felt a bit strange, the track is slippery and sketchy and you have to ride with the head. I only made two mistakes, so really happy.

MX2 Moto One

Coenen with the holeshot in the opening MX2 moto, from de Wolf, Farres, Everts, Valin, Langenfelder, McLellan, Walvoort, Benistant and Lara 10th. Adamo back in 13th place and his championship hope diminishing by the minute.

Langenfelder all over Farres and trying to bridge the points gap that de Wolf was building at this Grand Prix. Adamo into 10th place, but still many points to deal with to get back into the championship picture.

Lap five and the lead by Coenen was 7.5 seconds ahead of de Wolf, who was 1.5 ahead of Everts, then came Farres, Langenfelder, McLellan, Valin, Adamo, Walvoort and Lata 10th. Yamaha riders in 11th, 13th, and 17th and really struggling again in Turkey. Langenfelder made the pass on Farres for fourth position.

Lap seven and the lead by Coenen was opening up to 8.7, but behind him De Wolf, Everts and Langenfelder was very close, with the German looking to gain points on de Wolf, rather than lose them. Everts and Langenfelder is a great battle for third place. Adamo up to seventh position, with a pass on McLellan.

Langenfelder made a nice pass on Everts to move into third place and now going after de Wolf. The lead by Coenen on lap nine was 7.8 seconds, so maybe de Wolf and Langenfelder catching the Belgian rider. McLellan passed Adamo and Langenfelder all over de Wolf for second place.
